The FEECO International testing and tolling facility is a state of the art facility consisting of a pilot plant, tolling production plant, and analytical laboratory. The FEECO International Test Laboratory / Pilot Plant provides workable solutions for your fine material problems. Let us show you how we can convert all types of dust, bulk powder material and sludge into free flowing pellets or granules for dust-free handling. And we can show you how to granulate sludges into organic fertilizer.

The pilot plant can be set up for testing on a single piece of equipment or multiple pieces of equipment as a continuous process loop with agglomeration, drying, sizing, and recycling capabilities. We record all the necessary operating data for process scale-up to meet your production requirements.

Our test lab can perform a benefit analysis based on test results and the customers' product requirements. FEECO lab personnel, working with design engineers, can then recommend the best process and equipment combination for production. Once a workable process and set-up is identified, the FEECO test lab has the equipment available to simulate production conditions, scale the process up to a full-scale production plant and produce end product anywhere from pounds to tons-per-hour. The tolling production plant can be set up to produce quantities in the range of 5 ton to 100 ton.

The tests we perform at FEECO will provide you the answers to two basic questions:

Important - The FEECO International test laboratory is one of the very few labs that includes tests on horsepower draw of various test setups so that you have a much more accurate means of sizing necessary equipment.

We welcome the opportunity to conduct a free "look-see" test on your material. There is no charge for this quick test to verify that your material will agglomerate. We require only one five-gallon pail of material in the state that you would want to process it and a current MSDS. We would also seek your input as to material characteristics such as size, strength and density you would require in a final product. We can select the most appropriate agglomeration technology and conduct the testing for you. If you have specific ideas regarding the process development, we would value your input.
